The Summerglen Duo
Welcome to the home of the Summerglen Duo, the newest project of Percussionist N. Andrew Munger and trombonist Christina Thompson. The Summerglen Duo is a vibraphone/marimba and trombone duet that serves the Raleigh area with beautiful music for special events.
Our Style A unique and versatile ensemble, the Summerglen Duo creates music ranging from from peaceful and meditative to upbeat and fun. We perform jazz, classical, and popular favorites as well as original compositions. Our uncommon instrumentation--trombone and vibraphone/marimba--gives us a sound unlike any other ensemble in the Raleigh area, and allows us to create enchanting original music and breathe new life into the classics.
