Join us for our 2012 Summer Trombone Ensembles!

Trombone ensembles, or groups made entirely of trombones, offer unique musical challenges and experiences that can help young trombonists grow as musicians. Summerglen Trombone Ensembles are small, allowing each participant to play a unique part. In this small group setting, you can improve both your individual and ensemble playing skills with the support of an experienced professional trombone teacher.

Playing in a trombone ensemble can help you develop:

The trombone ensembles at Summerglen Music are designed to help you become a better trombonist, meet new friends, and have a good time making music in a supportive environment. Our ensembles will be coached by professional trombonist Christina Thompson, a music educator dedicated to giving you a positive, fun, and challenging playing experience. Trombone Ensemble Info:

Ensemble Levels
Beginner - For students who have just completed their 1st or 2nd year of playing

Intermediate/Advanced - For students who have played for 2 or more years and have solid practice habits.

Intermediate/Advanced Short Session - Designed especially for high school students who have Band Camp in late summer, this group meets for 4 weeks in June and July.

If you sign up for a group and find the music to be too easy or too challenging, you may switch groups.

Dates and Times
Beginner Ensemble
Rehearses Mondays from 1-2:15pm from June 11-August 6 (Except July 2), and will present a concert on August 11.

Intermediate/Advanced Ensemble
Rehearses Mondays from 2:30-3:45pm from June 11-August 6 (Except July 2), and will present a concert on August 11.

Intermediate/Advanced Short Session
Rehearses Mondays from 2:30-3:45pm from June 11-July 9 (Except July 2), and will present a concert on July 14.

Cost
$100 for either 8-week session, or $50 for the short session.
