The Summerglen Duo is dedicated to creating wedding ceremony music that celebrates your unique personality and special bond as a couple. We handle the details of your wedding music in a professional manner, so that you can relax and enjoy your wedding day! We offer the following services for your wedding ceremony:

Getting to Know You
At Summerglen, we want to learn more about you and your sweetie's unique personalities, so that we can make your wedding music express who you are! We'll stay in contact with you as you plan your wedding, learn your special songs, and help you decide which music is right for you. We provide a sample wedding music list and wedding music planner to give you musical ideas for your ceremony.

Consultation with You
At your consultation, we treat you to a sampling of how your wedding will sound! We will perform the music you have chosen, discuss the ceremony, and answer your questions about wedding ceremony music.

Our Commitment to You
Your wedding is one of the most important events of your life, and Summerglen is committed to making it both memorable and stress-free. So that you can relax and know that your wedding music will be given the most professional treatment, we provide you with a written wedding music contract. If at your consultation, you decide to hire the Summerglen Duo for your ceremony, we will go over the contract with you and make sure our agreement fits your unique needs.

Rehearsal
To ensure that everything goes smoothly on your wedding day, one or both members of the Summerglen Duo will attend your wedding rehearsal.

  • 15-30 minutes of prelude music
  • Processional music for the mothers
  • Processional music for the groomsmen
  • Processional music for the bridesmaids
  • Processional music for the bride
  • Special music during the ceremony (optional)
  • Recessional music as the wedding party exits
  • Postlude music for the guests as they leave

Fees

Our fee for a full wedding ceremony (including everything listed above) in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area is $250. We will keep playing for $80 per additional hour. A travel fee of $.50 per mile will be added to all weddings taking place outside the Triangle area.

A $100 fee is charged for accompanying singers and other soloists at your wedding. This covers the cost of rehearsing with the performer and writing an arrangement of the accompaniment.

A non-refundable deposit (personal check, certified check of money order) of one half the total fee to reserve your date and time is due at least one month in advance or at the time of booking. The balance is due before prelude music begins on your wedding day.
